Have clubs ever lowered your handicap?

  1. Not directly. I think my performance gains (and lower scores) come from confidence in what I am hitting.

    Going from a non fitted 915 driver to a fitted TS3 has helped my game. I’ve dropped about two stroke a round. Plus my short game has improved because I’ve spent more time on it because I trust my driver now and don’t tinker with it at all now.

    I bought a set of DCI’s after starting to make a good wage. Had them fit by a PGA Professional who got “B models” 7 iron to wedges. They were 2 deg upright & 1” long. My handicap went from 14 to 11 in 6 weeks. Those irons made the difference.

    Yes, but like others have mentioned, it was probably more a matter that the clubs were fitted for me. Since then, knowing my specs, I wouldn't say any set I've had adjusted or bought to match my specs has made a serious difference.
