    Play your round in sets of 3 holes. If you're off your game, this gives you multiple chances to turn things around get back on track.

    "You won't make any putts unless you get it to the hole." Simple thought made me a better on the greens.

    "You can't hit that shot anymore, so try a smarter one" my uncle has mentioned that to me a few times.

    It means don't try the hero shot, hit the playable scoring shot instead.

    Play the shot you know you can play.....not the one you would like to be able to play....told as a 14yr old , 45yrs later I still struggle to take that advice.

    Don't compound an error by trying a "hero" shot. Take your medicine and give yourself a chance at par or bogey at worst.

    Im not nearly good enough nor am I playing for any stakes that warrant getting angry on the course. Everyone has bad rounds or frustrating misses, but ultimately its a treat to be able to play and I dont take that for granted
