  1. I’m all for supporting Titleist. This past year I have had some incredible experiences because of them. I understand the concern about alienating people with a premium membership, but if done right, I will be happy to support it. I, too, got the email a couple weeks back and said as much then.
  2. Would sign up to this in a heartbeat. TT have the numbers and I think it’ll be beneficial for us and Titleist.

    Lets hope it happens

I think a premium membership has great potential. Certainly would be interested in hearing more details. Been a Scotty Cameron member for years, and actually came to Team Titleist after learning about it from TCC members years ago.

I did the survey. I am in favor of it, but also understand those with reservations. Just my opinion but I think Club Cameron and a premium Team Titleist would be very different. The audience for CSC is wider as those who are loyal to TM or cally would have interest in CSC but not TT. And while we are all Titleist fanatics, I think the fanaticism for Scotty is different. For instance there is a Scotty museum in Tokyo. That said, there will be the risk of people looking at it as an opportunity to pick up items to profit from selling.
  5. I'm all down for any kind of exclusive membership to include special drops with covers, bags, and gear that wouldn't normally be released to the public. I'm a Club Cameron US membwr as well as a M&G Japan member. It is always nice to be part of an exclusive group!

    Agreed!
  7. I am not a fan of the paid membership. It gets to the point where bots are just buying up the memberships and reselling the gear for a huge markup. I love the Team Titleist community the way it is now. I have a Club Cameron membership, but even with the membership, I still miss out on the early release items because of the bots.

    Chris,
I'd agree with what have said in previous in other posts about the fear of bots and people signing up that aren't really loyalists to the brand. I'd definitely love the idea though a of a Team Titleist Club where like for $99.00 get a cover and some swag then access to more events, ability to test product, new merchandise drops etc. I feel like the staff at Titleist would probably be smart on how they run the program so that they don't ruin the loyalists at heart.
  9. I'd be on board for this. i dont love paying for things but if its like the Club Cameron and the welcome gift is worth the money, I'd gladly do so.

What kind of welcome gift did you get?
  11. The benefits of a paid tier would have to be pretty great to justify it for me.
  12. Have a Club Cameron membership, would get a Team Titleist no doubt.

Seems some got the survey regarding having a membership. As a long time member, attend events and very active, did not participate in the survey????????? Or maybe at my age I forget easily. I think having paid memberships is opening Pandora's box.

I became a Scotty Cameron member, but couldn't get a hold of any specials. As I told some people from Titleist in one of our TTI events, the only way to successfully have a premium membership TT club is if you have enough stock for a large percentage of it's members, otherwise they will sign up one year and leave the second year.

    Hi Chris

    I hope you’re well.

This would be very interesting but like others on here the availability of the Scotty Cameron memberships see a lot of people who get access trying to sell on the various platforms to make a fast buck.

Do these people really have brand loyalty?

    Best Regards

I've been trying to get a SC membership & a grip for about 4 years now. I've been a member of TT for many, many years and the community is wonderful with information and then the occasional swag & drops everyone has the same opportunity to achieve access to.

But I'm loyal so I would probably try to be a member & if I can't then I'll just try each year until I can join the group again. Or just fade away...... from the whole scene. I'll still play Titleist equipment & balls though

I took part in the survey a while back, and I honestly can't remember with absolute certainty how I answered, but I'm pretty sure I was on the fence. I'm not generally interested in a premium membership solely for status or first crack at exclusive gear. I'm here primarily for the interaction with a community of like-minded golfers whose opinions and insights I trust to help better my game, and I don't really see the need to pay for it.

Secondly, it's nice to have the opportunity for product testing and to be able to provide feedback about new product ideas or changes, but I don't really feel the need to have to pay for the opportunity for the increased frequency. Right now I think that Titleist does a great job already of selecting active TT members for surveys and product testing - I've done 2 or 3 surveys already in the short time I've been here as a player with a mixed bag. I also participated in the AVX testing, although it was through another site.

I love how Titleist is involved with keeping their products at the apex by continuous feedback from their customers and those considering Titleist as an option, but I think you may end up losing some of that genuine feedback by weighting results from a group of paid members that are already completely invested. Sometimes I think that you begin to look the other way when you become comfortable and end up living in an echo chamber. Just because something is the best today doesn't mean it's going to be tomorrow - continual innovation and improvement is a must.

I can see the value of having different tiers for those who are interested, but I don't think that it's status is that should be able to be purchased a la carte. Having some kind of a tiered rewards points system in place for purchases placed directly from Titleist or equipment registered with Titleist would probably kill several birds with a single stone. You'd get to recognize those who lose several hundred dollars worth of balls per year ***raises hand***, and kick a little back to those that are complete brand loyalists as well. If you have an entire bag of nothing but Titleist, I think you should get the first crack at playing at a TT event as a reward and maybe a hat or headcovers. Fittings at TPI should also automatically qualify you for some sort of status, I just don't think that charging $120 per year will carry the same intrinsic value as earning it as a brand loyalist.
  18. Having a Team Titleist shop would be awesome! I visited BP3 and the gift shop there was fantastic!

Would depend on what you get with subscription.

As a long time reader and occaisional poster I think this is a really bad idea. The idea that I have to pay to find out information about the new products I will/might buy in the future seems strange. I also don't like the idea that I would have to pay to to be able to buy things not available to those who don't pay a membership.

Please Titleist don't price out the little guy who enjoys being a member of Team Titleist.
