  1. As a young kid in2003 it started with a hat and a box of nxt tour balls. with the money I made from mowing lawns I got my first scotty (a laguna2 pp ) then slowly added the wedges, then the irons and finally in2022 the woods.

Started playing last year with a starter set my mother bought me as a Christmas present. I had always talked about golfing but never pulled the trigger. I joined a league at work the same year, and dedicated at least two 18 hole rounds a week, along with my 9 for the league. Loved it ever since and decided this year I would go get fitted. I asked the fitter to keep me as blind as possible, I did not want a brand to influence my decision. Money was not a factor, and my only stipulation was I wanted to know that I did at least try a set of miz irons. By the end of the fitting, miz were the ones that stood out as my least favorite by feel in my hands AND performance, which was a surprise to me, and cally and Titleist were the two that felt and performed the best. Purely off feel, the Titleist T350's and the TSR3 hybrid felt the best, most consistent, and easiest to shoot. They also performed the best based off the data gathered from the fitting. No brainer decision there. Unfortunately, during the woods fitting, we were unable to accommodate my needs with a Titleist driver, but I was able to try a 3 wood fitted to me, and it felt great. Based off that and how I swung a png driver, we were confident we could get the same, if not better performance out of the TSR2 driver, so I settled on that as well, and I've never felt so confident and satisfied as I have with these clubs. Titleist made an already fun and great game even better for me.

In 2016 the wife bought me a new driver and fw wood for my birthday. After falling in love the clubs and the feel I knew that when it came time to upgrade my irons I was going to get Titleist. Once that happened I upgraded the rest of the bag. I've fallen in love with the brand for many reasons but I appreciate a quality product that give me confidence to play well. Case in point my putting wasn't so hot so I was down in Sea Island this past year for my birthday and got a putter fitting at their performance center and I told the fitter while I appreciate the putters from the brand he was sponsored by I want to find the best scotty for stroke. Low and behold I went from a blade style putter to a mallet and the Golo 6 became the gamer.

I switched early in my golfing career. Started playing golf in 97. Bought a cheap set of clubs at Kmart. Yes Kmart. Haha. Figured out pretty fast I needed something better. Buddy I played with played png. I wanted to play something different. Saw plenty of pros playing Titleist. Ordered a set of 981 DCI's and the rest is history. Got myself a Cameron, that I still use, a driver and 3 wood.
Strayed from Titleist when Tiger made the switch to swoosh. Unfortunately fell for the marketing. Now in the process of getting everything Titleist again. New irons are the last purchase to make.

Your gear journey sounds much like mine. Started with Wilson irons as a beginner and a TM bubble driver. Much much later had Miz mp-32 irons and a mish mash of woods so got fitted at an indoor centre run by Ian Poulters brother. We tried all sorts and although Titleist weren’t the longest, they gave me the best and most consistent gapping.
I started playing a bit less and needed more help from my irons than the Miz’s were offering so explored options and got fitted for 718AP2’s which are still in the bag.
I like the aesthetic of Titleist clubs and the fact that the release cycle is predictable and not a constant turnover just seems more of a grown up way of doing business. No need to constantly be shouting about the latest shiny thing to drive sales.

Nothing to swith here. I've been a Titleist loyalist since 1985 and don't see me changing anything in the future.
I want to play my best and I need to trust the equipment I chose to game. To me, that only leaves one option.

Found my way to the brand after playing a set of hand me down Vokeys, they just felt like an extension of my arm rather than a tool. I built my entire bag full of TM gear, putter to driver, bag and balls you name it. After a couple rds, I just wanted more feel and predictability with my shots so I decided to retool my bag. I changed out all my wedges from MGs to Vokeys, then my ball from a TP5 to Titleist. There was a noticeable improvement on my greenside control my last two rds. I will likely continue to play my 770s, but I am already eyeing a set of T series and a Scottie. My advice to new players like me, listen to your game and play what compliments you.

For me it was 2 things:

Product quality - so much stuff today is cheaply made and quickly obsolete. Titleist builds quality products. They last, they perform, and they look good for the long-haul.

Customer experience - in my life I have written to several company CEOs. I received responses from exactly 2. One was David Maher at Acushnet.

The other was Ben Hogan - yes that Ben Hogan. In the 1980s I sent Mr Hogan a letter asking if I could purchase a replacement clubhead for my three iron as it was broken. He sent me a new club - no charge.

I was a MacGregor club player for years and played Wilson Prostaff balls, then MacGregor Tourney and Jack Nicklaus Muirfield balls for a long time. In the early 90's I got a set of Ben Hogan Edge irons that I used up until a few years ago. Golf balls then were Maxfli DDH and HT.
I started using Titleist Pro v1's and that's where I am today. All my clubs are Titleist. (T350, T200, TS3)
Wally Uhlein impressed me with how he treated Mo Norman and stuck by tour pro's not having their best years. I wanted to use equipment from a company like that. I've played better golf ever since I went all Titleist.
  11. Always played Titleist balls, but just recently got serious again and had a full Titleist bag fitting with Kevin a Sleepy Hollow. Playing better than I have in years, coincidence? I think not.
