I'm still swinging my 816 21° Hybrid but after reading the comments here - can't wait to hit a TS Hybrid!

My 17 and 21 TS2 were delivered today. Super pumped to get them out on the course Friday!

Anyone notice the sound on the TS2 is really tinny? I love my 818H1 but always looking at the new stuff. I think the TS drivers and T irons have been amazing, but initial impression on the hybrid was it felt good but sounded very different than I am used to.

Scott they sound higher pitched to me but I like it! Makes me feel like I really smashed the ball! Haha!

Acoustically the TS Hybrids are much more metallic sounding than the 818's.
Removing the ARC has a lot to do with this.
I'm really happy with my 818H1....Love the muted sound and everything else that goes into a great Titleist Club.
No need to change when you hit the correct numbers on the course.

    Cheers,

I just went through a fitting as I am looking at replacing my 5 wood. I have not been a hybrid fan for the last 4-5 years because they, like others on the site, became a hook magnet for me.
I went to a Titleist Thursday fitting and tried both the TS2 and TS3. The TS3 is the one for me. My ball speed stayed the same and my launch lowered and spin rate came down. Even though we were hitting into a 8-10 mph wind I was still getting a nice penetrating shot. I ended up going with the TS3 19* in an A4 setting to bring it to 18* with the Tensei white 100g shaft and the 14gr. weight. I have all the confidence of swinging all out and not turning that to a hard pull. I can even hit high fades with it ! Great job Titleist!

Got one a TS2 21 degree last night! Went straight into the bag! Next, new irons!
  9. I cannot find anywhere the Titleist TS3 hybrid with 25 degrees of loft. Did Titleist end up not making it available?

The TS3 is more popular with the better players (smaller head, etc.). I'd only expect to find the 25 degree on the rack as a TS2. Pro shops can order it, at least until/if Titleist releases a TSi version. Checking online at Carl's Golfland, the 23 is the highest loft stock but you can customize it for the 25 degree, and it is the same reduced price from $279 to $229.

Stores will only stock higher volume products. As a LH I don't even have a third of the selection on the shelves as the RH options. So I have to custom order every Titleist club in the bag.
