Bit of instruction for me, to make my good rounds and bad rounds a bit closer. I need to get deeper into category 1 (UK Handicap), rather than lurk on the edges of Cat 1/2. It’s also a mindset change sometimes, as to just get the ball round the course even when not striking it too well.

Most of all, it’s all about enjoyment. Got a few trips planned nextbyear too, so hopefully be a good one

    Happy Holidays, Team Titleist!

It's hard to believe, but this week we'll be hitting our very last shots of the 2018 golf season. It was a memorable year for our community, and we certainly had a great deal to be thankful for. (Click here to check out Abby's recent post that includes some of our favorite memories from the past season.)

But as 2018 winds down, it's also a great time to look ahead, with a new season on the horizon and plenty of new hills left to climb. So we'd like to hear from all of you and learn about your goals and plans for the New Year. Vote for one of the options in the quick poll below and add a comment to share what you'll be doing to make this season even better than the last.

Anyone can win trophies but getting as lower handicap as possible is what counts

Hoping to play more this year. I was injured for the majority of last season, pretty much unable to swing a club!

My goal is to get a few lessons to help speed up my progression to more consistent play, which in return it will lower my handicap which is the end goal.
2018 I wanted to get back to single digits. I came up short due to not having the time to play enough, but came close with my handicap coming down to 11.

I’ve got 2 issues to work out. Picking a putting grip (spent all summer flopping around for alignment). And getting my swing path more inside. Lost a little game with the neck change that I need back (boohoohoo).

Plus working out and stretching which I haven’t done in years.

    Here’s to a better season.
  6. Just getting back into the game after years of not playing due to work/family. The kids are getting older so I want to get them playing with me. Personally I’d like to lower my 11 down to 7 or 8. I still put up some good scores but my consistency needs work especially my work around the greens. Have a great new year!
  7. Play mid 80's consistently.
  8. I would like to beat my low of 90 this year

To be able to walk 18 holes each day for 7 days in Ireland in late July, after having hip replacement surgery in late February.

Goal is to shoot some rounds in the 60’s and win the club championship. Have fun and enjoy the game.
  12. Play more golf. I stopped playing for a couple of years and I just bought a set of clubs this last summer. I am looking forward to getting back into playing and hope to get out as much as I can this year.
  13. More distance and consistency with irons and short game. Be more conservative to reduce blow-up holes. Continue to just “have fun”. There are bigger fish to fry.

    Happy holidays to the TT,!

My plan is retiring, getting fitted for a new bag of clubs. 718s, SM7s, and the New TS driver. Then spend a few days with my coach and win a few rounds against my foursome. We have a new course to play this year as our old one closed to build new homes..so it should be an interesting season..
  20. My wife and I retired this past June. We love to golf together. We plan to do a golfing road trip and just have fun with it.
